To disable a datasource from discovering instances and collecting data for all members of a group, select the group in the host tab. The right hand panel will show all datasources that are active for all members of that group.

You can then select the tool icon for a datasource, and select "Disable Datasource ...".

This will stop this datasource from being collected on all members of that group.
